International Book Fair (FIL)

“Feria Internacional del Libro” (FIL) is the second-largest book fair in the world, and it takes place in the Fall in Guadalajara (Jalisco, Mexico). With business as one of its main goals, it is also a cultural festival with a program where authors from all continents and languages participate and a forum for the academic discussion of the major issues of our time.

Babel Linguistics has translated a dozen titles with book reviews into Spanish language in collaboration with the University of Chicago Press, who attends FIL as a selling agent. Authors, literary agents, booksellers, librarians and publishers from more than 40 countries will meet to find out and present the innovations of the book industry.
