film subtitles

Our team produced subtitled versions in Japanese, Dutch, German, French, and Spanish for a documentary-film specially recognized at the Boston International Film Festival, and now just released to the marketplace. Babel Linguistics completed the official foreign language versions of the award-winning documentary film “What Babies Want”, directed by D. Takikawa and narrated by actor Noah Wyle. Addressing controversial issues such as consciousness in infants and childbirth, this emotionally-charged film makes a social statement about the importance of early development in children and its effect on both individual wellbeing and that of society at large. For our linguistic team, it was rewarding to convey those emotions for the different cultures involved, as it was challenging to create and validate subtitles within time codes.

The subtitled DVD has just been released for sale. You may watch a trailer here. You can get it on Amazon.
